Womed's mission is to help women improve their fertility by protecting and restoring their uterus for pregnancy.
History
Womed Leaf stems from research conducted at Pr Garric's biopolymer lab at the University of Montpellier, France, and which aimed at finding an elegant solution to an unmet medical need in gynecologic surgery: intrauterine adhesions. The research project started in 2013 and was conducted as the thesis work of several PhD students. At the conclusion of the thesis, the lab looked for an industrial partner to commercialize the invention. Womed SAS was incorporated in 2018 for that purpose.
Womed is dedicated to quality and is ISO 13485 certified.
